Created as part of my Artists Residence for my local council during the Melbourne Covid-19 lockdown, these bookmarks are momentoes for mothers of new babies born during the pandemic. The bookmarks feature historic photos of mothers and babies from around 100 years ago, who went through the Spanish Flu pandemic, and a short poem: the sun moves/small changes/pull us through/our turn in time.

Box of bookmarks being delivered to the maternal and child health service for giving out to mothers. Masked mother is from the photograph Flu Epidemic hits Mosman 1919, Mosman Local Studies Collection.
