I visited the National Trust property Labassa on their open day, and toward the end of the afternoon, in a final blaze of autumn light, I took a series of photographs of the play of light in the historic house, including reflections in the display spaces, following on from my series Shine of reflections in museum exhibitions. I also took photographs of sunlit glimpses of the red rooved suburbia that encircles the property.
