I have been commissioned by the UNESCO Melbourne City of Literature Office to create a micro-history  of Coburg Lake Reserve. This image is a sample of what the tiny booklet will look like.

The Coburg Lake reserve has never been so busy, and is crowded with locals, walking and running around the lake, taking a break from Covid-19 isolation. My neighbours might like to re-imagine the lake as it once was, when the water was cleaner, full of swimmers, divers and model boats. Households around the lake will receive a little zine like booklet about the history of Coburg Lake in their letterboxes in upcoming months.

The Melbourne UNESCO City of Literature Office is a joint initiative of Creative Victoria and City of Melbourne and is hosted by The Wheeler Centre.
