I recently had two poems published in the Swinburne University online magazine Backstory; “a history journal with an eye on the future”.

Easter Break – Murtoa is about the eerily beautiful Murtoa Stick Shed, built as an emergency grain store during WWII. Known as the ‘Cathedral of the Wimmera’, the shed is on the National Heritage List.

Coburg Lake reflects on historic photographs of the lake near my house, thanks to Coburg Historical Society for permission to reproduce one of their photographs on the Backstory website.

To read the poems go to Issue Sixteen of Backstory.
